This weekend Frans Timmermans travelled to Berlin to answer questions from young activists.
The PES Common candidate travelled to the German capital for the event organised by Jusos, the youth wing of the German SPD.
Addressing around 200 young people, Frans Timmermans took questions and spoke about his commitment to create a Europe which is fair, free and sustainable. The PES manifesto includes a series of commitments to empower young people and improve their prospects for the future. A progressive European
Commission will tackle precarious work, create more affordable housing, extend the Youth Guarantee – which has already helped millions of young people in Europe – and support and reinforce Erasmus+.
